What type music compairs to the soundtrack from Gladiator?

I love the sound that was done in the movie gladiator. I would love to find some music that can compare to it. My problem stems from the fact that it is all original compositions. Can someone please give me a hint on what type of genre or composer I should look to, to find a similar sound?|||Go to www.imdb.com, and identify the composer form the credits. Then click on HIM - and you will be taken to his other films scores.|||I've watched the film "Gladiator", but didn't take particular note of its music. Located this clip(along with many others of it) on You Tube; its caption is, "the main theme" from the film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgCevpO18鈥?/a>

If this is the type of music you're referencing - portrayal of the "nobility of the human spirit", I would deem it - you may find the following which are genuine pieces of classical music(the "Gladiator"'s soundtrack composed by Hans Zimmer, I would not consider to be).

The "Lacrimosa" from Mozart's "Requiem": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrtOXih-m鈥?/a>

"Siegfried's Funeral Music" from Wagner's "Die Gotterdammerung", has been used in countless films, to underscore the "nobility of the human spirit": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrZXEky58鈥?/a>

Samuel Barber's famous "Adagio for Strings", in my view, expresses the virtue of nobility, though in a most profoundly sad and poignant way: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dPDO3Tfa鈥?/a>

Alberich|||probably movie soundtrack music, they are not classical music.
