If you were a gladiator, would you rather fight a tiger or gladiator?

Me and my friend are arguing about it. 6'5, skilled, armored gladiator with years of training, an axe, and a sword; or a 600 pound, vicious tiger? Tell me who, and if possible why?|||If I had a weapon- the tiger. No weapons, I'd stand a better chance against the gladiator.|||men were actually only 5 feet even in that time. only in sci-fi movies are they portrayed as enormous men. so id rather take my chances with the midget.
