How do you wear gladiator sandals?

...without looking like a gladiator? I find shorts/skirts need to be on the shorter side or the pants/leggings need to be skinny and longer to look right. The capri or mid-dress length doesn't seem to go. I'm unsure about whether I'm doing it right. Pics would be helpful! Thanks.|||ugh, i hate gladiator sandals. i like wedges now, they are more in than gladiators are.


if you like them a lot, then i say wear them with skinny jeans. that's how i used to wear them and i didn't look like a gladiator, lol.

Floral and layered skirt also go very nicely with a summer edge to it|||I don't wear gladiator sandals because they're very last year.
