Are gladiator sandals popular in Paris during the summer? What about low top converse?

Help! going to paris in august, don't want to look like a tourist!|||I see a lot of Parisian women wearing gladiators. I'm not a fan but if it rocks your boat...yes, Converse are ( too ?) popular, a bit trite. Anyway, wear what you wanna wear. Who cares? Have fun on your trip.|||definatly not!!!! You'll look like a UK tourist :) but converse are very popular in france.
